City of Ashes is the second book in The Mortal Instrument's series. In this book our beloved characters Clary, Jace, Alec, Iasbelle, and Simon; are still on their mission to stop the big bad Valentine. At the end of City of Bones we find out that Clary and Jace are brother and sister, gasp. Now people believe that Jace is working with his new found father Valentine. And his actions and witty comments are not doing him any favors. Now Valentine has taken something very important from the Shadowhunters.
How does Simon handle the shadow world and can he keep himself out of trouble? What is Valentine's plan? Will they prove Jace innocent? And will Jace and Clary be able to live just as siblings or are the feelings just to deep?
I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy, adventure and romance. You will never put this book down.
